PDGM

Arbor Rehabilitation's home health division has been busy preparing our therapists for the Patient-Driven Groupings Model.  Our therapists have had education and competency testing on the essential areas that can impact an agency's bottom line while promoting solid clinical care. Training has occurred on the following areas:

• Plan of Care considerations under PDGM
• LUPA thresholds
• Admission Source and timing impact
• Clinical groupings including careful ICD-10 investigation and communication
• Functional Impact scoring from M1800 series questions
• Careful co-morbidity review and communication to the agency    

To promote clincial excellence, our therapists have had training on additional relevant areas:

• Effective documentation strategies
• Agency communication esentials
• Successful discharge planning

We beleive that preparing our therapy teams with thorough, accurate informaiton about PDGM will best help them to partner with our customers for success under this payment system!
